Two consecutive years doing
the World Cancer Day campaign.

The Spanish Association against Cancer has been working to raise survival in Cancer for years. In honour of 2024 World Cancer Day whilst everyone was talking about death we wanted to talk about life. 

 

Introducing Armbands of Hope. We changed the most visible symbol of grief for one of hope, we chose the black armabands worn by playersas a sign of loss and challenged the Spanish sports world to wear Armbands of hope in the name of the lives that will be saved if 70% cancer survival is achieved. What started as a simple challenge, soon kickstarted a whole movement.

It’s always hard to have to choose. So the year before we wanted to remember that cancer already does it for you.

1 in 2 people will suffer from cancer in their lives. But as scary as it is, we feel it doesn't affect us because it's a simple statistic. We had to find a way to really reach people and to do that we used one of the greatest insights there is: who do you prefer, mom or dad?
